who was the person knocked down last night at the cross roads near the grave yeard on Harry Renalds road and where they ok.My brother seen it and said it was terrible.That cross raods in extremly dangerous.I think something should be done about it.Dont know what??cathy
i agree with you it is a dangerous crossroads even though it has the pedestrian lights. every couple of weeks there seems to be some sort of accident at it. dont know how they going to improve that especially if all that new building goes up there.
Didn't hear a thing about it. I think that a lot has to do with illegal parking in the town too. And people taking chances. It's terrible when there is a crash - Gardai are probably aware of the peak times and could make themselves more visible.
I agree but I also have a gripe about another area in desperate need of either pedestrian lights or a crossing. The entrance to to the road to Pinewood Craoibhin and Derham Park. ( on the skerries rd) this is a road where it is getting impossible to cross. Cars van trucks and articulates speed along here. Kids have to cross the road twice a day for St Teresas school with no lollly pop lady as she does be up at the school its self on top of this alot of older persons live in this area it is so dangerous.
